Class 1
Introduction to Chinese Art and Culture
Lectures + Workshop
Art has no boarders, and we all can be inspired by Chinese wisdom. Class is held in studio 22 at McGuffey Art Center. This class will focus on building better understanding of appreciations and techniques in Chinese calligraphy, painting and culture. Each class will begin with a brief conversation, lecture and demonstration designed to develop better understanding of Chinese calligraphy and painting materials and techniques. Students will be guided to practice with their own artistic expression. Basic materials are included. Material list will be given during the first class if need. Class size is limited.
Class 3
Introduction A Peaceful World from Chinese Art and Culture
Class ( Virtual or In-person )
The class is held in studio 22 at McGuffey Art Center, or goes to virtual class. There are six main topics for each session in this 6-weeks class. They are “Black and white”, “Balance”, “Nature healing”, “Fengshui”, “Calligraphy”, “Chinese Food”. Class size is limited, especially in-person teaching during this pandemic time.
